While my husband is from Virginia and I’m from Philadelphia, he is currently stationed for the Army at Fort Rucker, AL and we wanted our wedding to have an elegant southern vibe to welcome our guests to Dixieland. Our ceremony took place on an outdoor terrace surrounded by fall-colored trees with breathtaking views overlooking the golf course at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa in Birmingham, Alabama. We went with a few different styles of dresses by Jim Hjelm Occasions, which undoubtedly stole the show when we were shopping for bridesmaid gowns!
